9-1-1’ Fans, Get Ready for the Ultimate TV Crossover Event You Never Saw Coming!

9-1-1 fans get disappointing update on show's future amid ABC move

In a twist no one saw coming, the crew of Station 118 will be answering a call at a well-known residence on ABC.

9-1-1 premiered its seventh season on March 14, and now the procedural drama is gearing up for its most surprising emergency yet. According to a report from People on March 16, 9-1-1 will team up with the hit Bachelor Nation franchise for a crossover set to air on April 4 at 8 p.m. ET. While details are sparse, Oliver Stark (Evan “Buck” Buckley) hinted to the outlet that fans will be treated to a “crossover of sorts.”

“There’s a really fun emergency, and it’s not necessarily the biggest in terms of spectacle, but in the fifth episode of the season, there’s one that kind of touches base with another ABC show,” he teased. “So I’m really excited for that just because I think it will be a good watch for the audience … It’s not a direct crossover, but there’s a feel of it.”

Fans got a taste of what’s to come thanks to a surprise trailer featuring recent Bachelor Joey Graziadei and host Jesse Palmer, which dropped on Instagram the day The Bachelor season finale aired on March 25. The trailer shows Buck and Howard “Chimney” Han (Kenneth Choi) arriving at the Bachelor Mansion. “The most shocking and dramatic 9-1-1 call the 118 has ever gotten. ” read the official caption. “Don’t miss a moment on April 4 following Thursday’s 3-part premiere conclusion!”

When fans discovered the surprise collaboration, they were immediately excited.

“The most unexpected crossover!  I can’t waitttt,” one person wrote. “I’m so confused but so here for it!!!!!!!” another exclaimed. “TWO OF MY FAV SHOWS IN ONE AHHHHHH,” a different viewer rejoiced.

Although there was speculation about a crossover with Grey’s Anatomy or Station 19, teaming up with the Bachelor universe is a fun surprise. The exact crisis is unclear, but People noted one clue about the storyline. In an exclusive photo obtained by the site, fans saw an ambulance bearing the 118 number parked in front of the iconic Bachelor Mansion, with the driveway looking all wet. Given how the show hoses off the driveway so it glistens on the first night of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, there’s potential for one of the characters to make an appearance for the night of introductions. Plus, the trailer indicates some contestants are interested in Buck, who is single at the moment on 9-1-1. Maybe he could be handing out a rose?

While this is a unique instance of worlds colliding, it’s not the first time 9-1-1 has done a crossover. Back in 2021, the show and its spinoff, 9-1-1: Lone Star, teamed up. Station 118 came to Texas to help Station 126 contain wildfires across the state.

Needless to say, our interests are piqued by this upcoming collaboration!
