“90 Day Fiancé”: Armando Rubio finally shares good news about 13-year-old daughter Hannah after her recent health scare – but the frightening ordeal left the family deeply shaken.
90 Day Fiancé’s Armando Niedermeier-Rubio is sharing a positive update on his daughter’s health journey.
On Saturday, Aug. 29, the reality TV star, 37, took to Instagram to share a positive update on his 13-year-old daughter Hannah’s health. The teen, who had to be airlifted to an Arizona hospital back in July due to a brain bleed, is officially back in Mexico after undergoing numerous tests and physical therapy sessions.
“Thank you, Arizona. Thank you, USA ❤️🇺🇸 With so much gratitude, we are headed back to Mexico. Here’s some pics of our last week in Arizona,” Armando began in his caption. “When Hannah’s medical emergency happened, we dropped everything and left home without knowing what the next day would bring. We are now returning weeks later to settle everything we left behind and, most importantly, to take a breath and see what the future holds.”
“Hannah is with us, and thankfully, she is doing really well. She’s back to her old self, however, with some restrictions,” he added. “She still does not have a diagnosis as to her brain bleed, and the road ahead is still filled with tons of questions. The next few months will bring many doctors’ appointments, tests, and decisions as we try to understand what is happening and figure out what the future looks like for her.”
Despite the need for more tests to try and figure out the cause of her brain bleed, the doting dad shared that he and his family are going to focus on all the blessings they have been granted thus far.
“But for today, we are grateful for the blessings we have,” the loving dad wrote. “Grateful that Hannah is here. Grateful for every prayer. Every message. Every person who helped us. Every doctor, nurse, friend, stranger, and family member who stood beside us through all this.”
“And to Arizona and the USA, thank you for allowing me entry to be at my daughter’s side, for giving us a place to be together when we needed it most,” he continued. “Thank you all for your love! #kennyandarmando.”
Armando, who rose to fame alongside his now-husband Kenneth Niedermeier, 64, during season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, first took to Instagram to give his followers more details about Hannah’s medical emergency after sharing a post asking for help securing an emergency medical travel visa.
In the clip, he explained what was going on with his teenage daughter, whom he welcomed with his ex-wife.
“I was at my shop and Hannah called me next door, and she said she wasn’t feeling good [and she was] crying,” he explained. “I noticed like her face was droopy, half of her face and her lips and stuff, and half of her body had no strength, so we immediately took her to the doctor.”
“When we got to the doctor, they did tell us her levels were normal in the sense of no high blood pressure, which was strange to the doctor because she said usually with stuff like this … that it was something with the brain,” he added. “It was strange given her age, and also the fact that she would have high blood pressure, which would be a huge symptom.”

While the couple still didn’t have concrete answers as to what was happening, they continued to share updates on their social media pages. On Thursday, July 16, Kenneth, who posted a photo of himself by Hannah’s bedside on Instagram, said the 13-year-old was “truly touched and shocked” by all of the love.
“Hannah told me to tell you all, thank you for all the love she is receiving from all of you, she is truly touched and shocked by it all,” he captioned the post. “It means the world to all of us! ❤️.”
Then, in a three-part post on Instagram on July 20, the married couple shared that Hannah was discharged from the hospital following her health scare.
“I’m actually very happy, very just thrilled, and just my heart is so full to let you guys know that Hannah has been released from the hospital, which is the best news we could have right now,” Armando shared, with Kenneth adding, “Oh God, we are so over the moon. Hannah’s very happy to be leaving the hospital.”
Kenneth then continued, “Ever since Armando got here, oh my God, she has just gotten better and better and gone leaps and bounds. The doctors were so happy with her progress that they said, ‘Now, I think she would do better with you guys in a home setting.’”
Aside from being Hannah’s stepdad, Kenneth is a father to son Bricen and triplet daughters Madison, Cassidy and Taylor.
