A look inside the Love Island 2024 reunion

Love Island ended for another summer last month, with Mimii and Josh have been crowned the winners.

In the days since leaving the villa, the islanders have come together once more for a reunion – however, it was seemingly not filmed like the previous years and was just a celebration.

Earlier this week, ITV revealed that the reunion show wouldn’t be taking place this year.

The 2024 cast of the hit ITV show posted the night all over their social media, giving the fans an insight into the reunion.

The party saw many of the viewers’ favourite pairings and groups reunite for the first time in weeks.

Attending the reunion was everyone from the original islanders to bombshells to the Casa Amor stars.

The event took place at the Radio Rooftop London, where the venue is decorated with the Love Island logo and decals all around.

Fan-favourite islander Samantha Kenny shared pics with close friends Nicole Samuel and Harriett Blackmore.

Samantha, who left the show in a shock dumping, wrote: “The reunion you’ve all been waiting for” as she posed with villa bestie Nicole.

Jessy Potts, who just missed out on the final with couple Joey Essex, shared a cute mirror selfie with Grace Jackson and Jess Spencer.

The 25-year-old also shared a sweet snap posing with Nicole and Jess White which she captioned: “Girlies🤍”

The boys of Love Island 2024 all had their own reunions, with Ciaran Davies posting a snap with Sam Taylor and writing: “Bromance cut short💙”

The runner-up also posted a pic catching up with OG island Munveer Jabbal, who was dumped in the second week of the show.

Ciaran, Lionel Awudu, Moziah Pinder, Konnor Ewudzi, Blade Siddiqi and Hugo Godfrey all posed for a group pic.

The Casa Amor boys also reunited and shared a snap of them to their Instagram stories.

Earlier this week, ITV confirmed the news to The Tab, and explained that the reunion would not be taking place because of how good the finale was, and how dramatic the final weeks were.

The broadcaster also claimed that new aspects of the show, such as the dumped Islanders returning ahead of the final to send Joey and Jessy home, took priority this year.

The Love Island reunion usually takes place a week or two after the final, and sees the entire cast meet up for the first time since leaving the villa.

The episode, filmed in the Aftersun studio, has provided plenty of drama in the past as the show’s host quizzes the Islanders about life since they left the show.

From Anton explaining why he doesn’t follow Molly-Mae on Instagram to Kady and Molly’s feud over swimwear, the Love Island reunion is always a series highlight.

Fans were excited to see the drama unfold at this year’s reunion.
