Explosive Clash Erupts Between Two Love Islanders at Reunion Party
At the Love Island reunion party on Wednesday night, tensions reached a boiling point as two Casa Amor contestants, Diamante Laiva and Ruby Dale, found themselves embroiled in a heated argument that quickly spilled over onto social media, capturing the attention of fans everywhere.
The drama unfolded when fellow Casa Amor contestant Lionel Awudu decided to document the fiery exchange on TikTok Live, as other cast members attempted to diffuse the situation. In the video, Ruby Dale could be heard recounting the events that led to the confrontation: “We attended an event together, and afterward, we went out. Diamante left early and then just blocked me.” Lionel, trying to lighten the mood, chimed in, “Ruby’s drunk,” to which Ruby quickly retorted, “No, no, I’m not drunk! Ruby is not drunk!”

As she held up her phone with Diamante standing in the background, Ruby continued, “She sent me a long message, and I responded by saying, ‘No hun, I’ve got no problem with you.’” The tension in the room was palpable, and it was clear this wasn’t just a minor disagreement.
According to reports from the tabloids, the message from Diamante that Ruby referred to read: “I think it’s been very clear from the Sean situation that you have an issue with me. Exactly why? I don’t know. And it’s not really my business, but your vibe yesterday was off. Obviously, we’ll have to see each other at other events, but I’d respect it if we don’t fake a friendship for the cameras and just never speak. I just can’t be bothered.”

Ruby’s response to Diamante was curt: “Hi hun, I have no issue. Sorry you feel this way x.”
As the night went on, Lionel took to TikTok Live again, this time giving Diamante the floor to share her side of the story. Visibly frustrated, Diamante said, “Guys, I can’t get a break. Never in my life have I gone after someone. I’m always defending myself. I came here for a relaxed night, and now this?”
She added, “This girl comes over and starts shouting at me. You’re not my mother; you’re only two years older than me, so stop acting like it. Why are you upset that I blocked you? I told you exactly what the issue was—your vibe was off. And then I blocked you. I’m just trying to enjoy my night. I don’t need all this drama. I look way too good to be dealing with this nonsense!”
The tension between Diamante and Ruby seemed to have its roots in the complex relationships that formed during their time on Love Island. Both women had developed connections with Sean Stone during the Casa Amor stint. Sean had flirted with Ruby and shared a few kisses with Diamante, but when Matilda Draper returned to the main villa, he chose to stick with her, leaving Diamante and Ruby feeling sidelined.
