Love Island’s Ronnie shares update about Harriett after cheating rumours
Love Island star Ronnie Vint has shared an update on his relationship with Harriett Blackmore following recent cheating rumours.
The pair both entered the 2024 summer series on the first day, and were dumped on day 26 after coupling up for the second time. Since leaving the villa, fans have been eager to see if the couple are still going strong.
Speculation around the pair’s relationship has grown in recent weeks after Ronnie was spotted with a woman on a night out in Milton Keynes, and was also heard arguing with Harriett over the phone at a party.
Speaking at the launch of his new events brand Eggi Boff last week (August 27), Ronnie addressed rumours of cheating and revealed his future plans with Harriett.
“I’ve been doing PAs, and obviously I’m going to take photos with girls and whatever, but there is nothing else, and she knows that, and obviously that’s the life we live now,” he told The Sun.
“If someone is close friends with me, and I’m talking to her, someone is going to try to take a photo, and that’s what it can look like. She obviously knows that deal, and what happened, because I went back that night and I FaceTimed her in bed, so she knew straight away that nothing happened, but then the story came out.”
Ronnie explained that the reports were “brushed” under the carpet after he was able to speak to Harriett, adding that he has learned to be “thick-skinned” when rumours about his relationship begin to surface.
“Other than that, we’ve been so good,” he continued. “We just had a little trip to Italy together. I met her family, and she’s met mine – the parents, and everything is going so well. I’m really looking forward to our next chapter together.”
Ronnie went on to reveal that he and Harriett have already dropped the L-bomb, and that he’s “so close” to making things official, but doesn’t want to be “forced” into doing it.
“I want to be real with what I’m doing, and she knows that, and we’re loved-up. I’m looking forward to the next chapter and making her my girlfriend in the next couple of days,” he said.
“I’ve asked already when we were in bed together and she said, ‘Why are you doing it here?’ I said, ‘I just want to be real, and do it here’. I don’t need a big reaction, and likes. I just want to be real with what we’re doing.
“I thought it was a real moment, but she said no at the time, but it’s coming because she loves me and I love her.”
