Two Love Island Stars Fuel Romance Speculation with Series of Intimate Meetups
Love Island’s Samantha Kenny and Hugo Godfroy have sparked romance rumours following a string of dates.
The pair have been getting close after leaving the villa following their separate stints on the hit ITV show this year.
The pair have been enjoying a couple of dates together since they both failed to find love in the villa.
Samantha was dumped from the show after Grace Jackson stole Joey Essex in a shock recoupling while Hugo entered the villa after coupling up with Jess White during Casa Amour.
The two spilt just weeks after leaving the villa.
Now, a source told The Sun: “Hugo and Samantha grew close after meeting at their return to Love Island at the end of the series.”
“They have been on a few dates when Samantha has been in London.”
“Samantha didn’t find love in the villa after her messy relationship with Joey but things seem to be going well with Hugo.”
Last month, Hugo Godfroy confirmed he’d split from Jess after he was spotted cosying up to another girl off the show – sparking rumours he has split from Jess.
The 24-year-old took to Instagram to confirm the two are no longer a couple.
In a statement posted to his story, he wrote: “Just to let everyone know Jess and I agreed to go our separate ways after the final in Majorca”
“I’m hoping we can still be friends as we had a great experience together, she’s a lovely girl and I wish her all the best❤️”
Hugo and Jess appeared to have split when he was spotted getting close to former Love Island contestant Charlotte Sumner at the after-party of the National Reality TV Awards.
At the time, Hugo appeared to be still coupled up with his villa partner, as they attended the final of the ITV2 show together in Majorca.
However, despite vowing to make it work on the outside, things appear to be firmly over between the duo after Hugo’s PDA with Charlotte.
Both Hugo and Charlotte had been guests at the 13th National Television Awards and reportedly sparked up conversation after Love Island won Best Entertainment Show.
The pair later headed to the awards ceremony’s swanky after-party in West London.
In photos obtained by the Sun, Hugo can be seen kissing former Islander Charlotte Sumner at the National Reality TV Awards.
The pair appeared close as they found a spot away from the other islanders.
