Home and Away star Adam Rowland has announced a major family update, confirming that he and fiancée Olivia Lewis are expecting their first baby. The happy news comes after the couple announced their engagement earlier this year.

Taking to Instagram in a shared post, the pair posted a series of photos showing off Olivia’s growing baby bump.

“Family photo needed a refresh…,” they wrote.

The two have since received a host of support in the comments, with Home and Away’s Lynne McGranger (Irene Roberts) writing: “Aww STOP IT!!! How wonderful! Congratulations.”

Georgie Parker (Roo Stewart) added: “Congratulations mate,” while Angelina Thomson (Kirby Aramoana) said: “YAAAYYYYYY!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!”

Juliet Godwin (Bree Cameron) shared: “CONGRATULATIONS guys so so happy for you!” while Home and Away’s official account called it “the best news”.

Adam, who plays Remi Carter on the soap, confirmed he and Olivia had gotten engaged back in January, sharing a romantic picture of himself getting down on one knee at Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh.

“Our favourite sunrise,” he added in the caption, accompanied by an engagement ring emoji.

Adam isn’t the only Home and Away star to get engaged this year, with Ada Nicodemou (Leah Patterson) and James Stewart (Justin Morgan) announcing they were tying the knot after the latter popped the question on Valentine’s Day.

“I knew it was coming, but didn’t know when,” Ada told Perth Now about the engagement. “We were already going to dinner for Valentine’s Day and Jimmy suggested that we should go for a little walk first, to our favourite spot and have a kiss – and that’s where he surprised me by going down on one knee.

“It was very special,” she added.
