Heartless ordeal for 90 Day Fiancé star! Kept away from his sick daughter until the last moment before finally being allowed into Arizona
Armando Niedermeier-Rubio, star of “90 Day Fiancé,” is expressing gratitude after he was allowed entry into the U.S. to be by the side of his sick daughter in an Arizona hospital.
In a July 18 post on Instagram, Niedermeier-Rubio announced he had obtained an emergency humanitarian visa, permitting him to gain entry into the country and reunite with his daughter.
Niedermeier-Rubio thanked U.S. Sen. Mark Kelly and U.S. Rep. Adelita Grijalva for assisting him in obtaining the visa.
“We are very thankful for the amazing Customs & Border Patrol Officers in Arizona who ultimately approved and signed of on my visa & granted me entry into the United States,” he wrote on Instagram. “Truly speechless at all the love & support for making a moment I doubted would happen, happen!”
Niedermeier-Rubio gained prominence on television through his appearance on “90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way,” which documented his relationship with his eventual husband in Mexico.
According to Congresswoman Grijalva’s office, Niedermeier-Rubio’s 13-year-old daughter was flown from Mexico to Arizona to receive specialized medical treatment, and her father had difficulty gaining entrance into the country.
“Every parent should be able to be with their child during a medical emergency,” Grijalva said in a statement. “I’m grateful that my office could assist in working with Armando and the CBP Office of Field Operations to ensure that he can be by Hannah’s side, where he belongs.”
On July 20, the father announced on social media that his daughter was released from the hospital and the family may have to stay in the Phoenix area as she continues to be monitored by doctors.
