The Love Island final is a mere few days away, and it seems as though we have a new favourite set to take the crown.

Josh and Mimii are now favourites to win the reality TV dating show, despite producers’ clear attempts to push Nicole and Ciaran’s romance (30 quid necklace, anyone?).

According to AI (yes, really), Josh and Mimii will be crowned this year’s winners, with Nicole and Ciaran coming second, and Matilda and Sean nabbing third place.

The research was conducted by InstantCasinos, who used three different AIs to predict who would win the series.

Lee Astley, Head of News at the brand, says: “There have been many twists and turns this year in the Love Island villa, resulting in a huge shock with Josh and Mimii being crowned winners.

“Although they seem a strong couple, the general consensus amongst fans was that Ciaran and Nicole were the overriding favourites to be crowned King & Queen of the villa. They will have to settle for second place if AI is indeed correct.

“Third place belongs to Sean and Matilda, who also seem a very strong and compatible pair on paper. This means that Joey and Jessy, Ayo and Jessica will have to settle for non-podium finishes. That’s not to say that they will perhaps even be the strongest couples outside of the villa in the real world.”

Well look, we can only wait and see what happens at the final on Monday.
