Joey was apparently ‘promised the final’ and would be taken out the villa by producers daily

We’ve all been wondering if Joey was getting special treatment in the villa, and former Islanders have even said he had some of his own rules whilst on the show.

But now, MailOnline is reporting Joey was “promised the final” by bosses on the show, and was fuming when he was voted out with Jessy earlier than then. Sources close to the show also told the publication Joey spent “two to three hours” a day out of the villa, which he spent with producers and away from the cameras.

ITV has since clapped back, and said: “Joey has not been treated differently at all at any point of the process both pre, during and post featuring on the series. We completely refute any claim as all Islanders are treated equally.” A mess!

A girl is claiming she’s Ayo’s secret girlfriend, but it seems suss

In the wildest turn of events, a girl is claiming Ayo isn’t single, and she’s been his girlfriend this entire time. The whole conversation started when her friend posted a TikTok video which said: “Jump in the pool fully clothed or admit your boyfriend went onto Love Island and came fourth.” The captioned added: “Without telling you too.”

Of course, the comments went crazy. The poster gave some more context, and claimed Ayo told her friend he was going on holiday with his brother and said it’s a “hurting situation” and her friend was “upset at first so didn’t want to air out her business” so has only spoken out now.

Obviously it all seems very suspicious, and when The Tab asked the video poster for any evidence of the relationship, she claimed she had “lots of proof” but didn’t share any.

Joey and Jessy have posted their first loved up pic together

Joey and Jessy are Instagram official, having posting their first picture together. “Exclusive era,” Joey said, next to a picture of them in what looks like the pool of the holding villa after the show. In the comments loads of people are wishing them well, but there are a few pointing out that Joey is mid-30s and still going “exclusive” with women. I’ll leave that there.

Ronnie has been accused of cheating on Harriett!!!

Just days after leaving the show and saying things were going well between them, Ronnie has been accused of cheating on Harriett. The Sun is reporting Ronnie has been spotted on a night out with a 21-year-old teacher, and they left together.

A source said: “Ronnie was in very high spirits and spent the night buying one girl champagne before they were seen leaving together.” Another source said: “The girl couldn’t believe it was Ronnie so soon after the show. He didn’t mention Harriett once and was acting like a single man so everyone assumed they had split up. She immediately told all her friends – it’s not every day a Love Island star shows you attention.”

However, someone close to Ronnie has said he went on the night out, but didn’t leave with anyone. The couple are clearly putting on a united front, posting cute pictures of them together on Instagram.

Ciaran has shared his biggest regret from the show

Ciaran has spoken out about his biggest regret, and said he wishes he hadn’t upset Harriett and Nicole at the start of the show by getting to know them both.

When asked his biggest regret, he said: “Probably how I went about getting to know Nicole and Harriett at the start. I ended up upsetting them both. If I could change anything it was the way I went about it. My intention wasn’t to hurt anyone but that’s what happened.” We forgive you!

Sean has spoken about if he’s going to remain friends with Joey after the villa

In his exit interview, Sean admitted his biggest regret was getting wrapped up in having an opinion on everyone else, and said he should have spent more time focusing on Matilda. “I could have been a bit more screwed on. I probably got wrapped up in things with the Joey friendship and how that panned out,” he said.

Now, appearing on the Love Island podcast with Matilda, Sean said he thought Joey was “just playing a game”. He said he’s had second thoughts about their friendship, but said they are still good mates.

“I feel like Joey and I have such a good friendship – so I don’t think it was Joey being Joey,” Sean said of Joey voting for him and Matilda as least compatible. “I feel like there was some sort of tactics behind voting for us and I was shocked. For me it was a tough one, but it is what it is.”

The voting figures from the final have been released, and it was one of closest votes in Love Island history. Mimii and Josh won with just six per cent more of the vote than second place Nicole and Ciaran. See the full result here.
