Bri and Demari win Too Hot To Handle, become the third Black couple to win a major reality dating show in 2024

Bri and Demari, or as fans have been calling them, “BriMari,” won Too Hot To Handle season 6 on Friday, August 2, 2024, and became the third Black couple to a popular reality show.

While the two were interested in one another on Day 1, the two had a turbulent relationship while on the show as Demari kissed newcomer Valentina in episode 4. This caused Bri to mistrust the Too Hot To Handle season 6 cast member but the two eventually resolved their issues and won the reality show together.

In episode 9, the couple went on a date where the male Too Hot To Handle season 6 cast member made things official and asked Bri to be his girlfriend. The latter said yes, and the two were now a thing. In the season finale, the two expressed their feelings for one another in the Colors of Change workshop, during which Demari stated that Bri made him feel like a better person.

Love Island US and UK 2024 winners

Love Island USA season 6 on Sunday, July 21, 2024, and crowned Serena and Kordell or “Kordella” as its winners. Much like the Too Hot To Handle season 6 winners, Serena and Kordell also coupled up on Day 1 but had a turbulent relationship as Kordell kissed Daia in Casa Amor and brought her back to the villa to couple up.

After seeing Kordell’s behavior in Casa Amor, Serena stayed single during the following recoupling ceremony. While the female cast member criticized Kordell, the latter won her back. With the public’s vote, the two won Love Island USA season 6.

Love Island UK, which aired season 11 crowned its winners on Monday, July 29, 2024. Unlike Bri and Demari, and Kordell and Serena’s times on their respective shows, Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan didn’t couple on Day 1. While the female cast member entered the show on Day 1, Josh joined the cast as a bombshell on Day 36.

The two officially paired up on Day 40 and their brief love story was impactful enough for them to win the public votes, which helped them win the British reality show.
