Ronnie has addressed rumours he cheated on Harriett
Just weeks after they left the villa together, rumours circulated that Ronnie had cheated on Harriett, and then the couple briefly split up, which really didn’t help things. Ronnie was spotted on a night out with another girl, and it was reported they left the venue together. A source said he had spent the night “buying her champagne”.
However, he’s now addressed the rumours and said he and Harriett are fine, and they understand these rumours come with being in the public eye.
He said: “I’ve been doing PAs, and obviously I’m going to take photos with girls and whatever, but there is nothing else, and she knows that, and obviously that’s the life we live now.
“If someone is close friends with me, and I’m talking to her, someone is going to try to take a photo, and that’s what it can look like. She obviously knows that deal, and what happened, because I went back that night and I FaceTimed her in bed, so she knew straight away that nothing happened, but then the story came out.”
Ronnie continued: “Even when the story came out, I said to Harriett, I FaceTimed you that night, so she knew straight away what happened, so it was brushed under, and other than that we’ve been so good. We just had a little trip to Italy together. I met her family, and she’s met mine – the parents, and everything is going so well. I’m really looking forward to our next chapter together.”
But it’s already been rumoured Harriett and Ronnie are on the rocks…again
According to The Sun, despite Ronnie’s nice words, the couple are on the rocks again after a huge row at an event. Last week, Ronnie hosted a bunch of the Islanders for the official launch of his new events brand, Eggi Boff.
But according to the publication, Ronnie was “audibly fuming with Harriett” as she didn’t arrive at the event until after 11pm. The evening started at 7pm, and Ronnie was heard shouting: “It’s a liberty,” down the phone, adding: “Imagine what would happen if I never came to your event.”
There was a cast night out and, surprise! Shade was thrown as some Islanders weren’t invited
Every time there’s a big Love Island 2024 cast night out, it seems as though certain people get invited and certain people don’t – proving there are major divides between who’s actually friends and who isn’t. The latest happened this weekend, as cast members enjoyed a night out in London.
Present at the girls’ night was Jessy, Mimii, Patsy, Nicole, Uma, Matilda, Jess W, Harriett, and Jess S. But who wasn’t invited to the Mayfair night out? Grace! What’s happening here then?
Wil and Uma have moved in together!
Wil and Uma have just revealed they’ve moved into a cute one-bed apartment together, just months after leaving the show. They gave a little tour of their new digs, fit with a marble bathroom and swanky kitchen, and said they’re still working on furnishing some of it. In full here.
And then did Ronnie shade them straight after?!
Straight after the news of Wil and Uma moving in together, people are saying Ronnie has made a sly dig at them, and Ciaran and Nicole who moved in together after the show. Ronnie said in an interview Islanders are often seen “rushing” into moving in, when it’s not actually good for their relationship and he would rather be “real”.
He said: “After the show, everyone feels like you should be rushed into doing something that you don’t want to do. I don’t want that, I don’t need that – I want to be real with what I’m doing.”
Sean has spoken out about his split from Matilda, and hinted they’ll get back together?!
Just one month after making it to the finale of Love Island, Sean and Matilda announced it was all over. In their statements the former couple said they are still friends, but now Sean has posted to explain more about what happened and hinted this might not be the end for them.
“Obviously it was always going to be difficult coming outside the Love Island bubble,” he said. “Being around someone as amazing as Matilda the whole time with no worries, nothing going down in the real world – just there living it, 24/7.
“Coming out, we have tried to make it work but she’s super busy, I’m super busy, it’s just one of those things really. And you know what, I wish her all the best, she’s going to absolutely smash it. You never know down the line, just gotta see what happens but right now it’s for the best but yeah, just gotta see what happens.” Umm, what are you saying here Sean?!
