Home and Away’s Remi Carter and Bree Cameron could be calling quits on their relationship following a huge betrayal.
Recent weeks have seen Remi burning the candle at both ends, while working with Avalon Bracken and Kirby Aramoana on their respective albums. Noticing Remi struggling, newcomer Avalon offered him drugs to help him get through the job.
However, Remi soon felt the side effects of the pills and he was found unconscious by Sonny Baldwin after collapsing in his home.
According to TV Week, the producer’s downward spiral is set to escalate as he makes yet another bad decision. But has he taken things too far this time?
In this week’s Australian-paced episodes, Remi betrays Bree by sleeping with Avalon. His infidelity is quickly discovered by Sonny and Eden Fowler, who are shocked at how low their friend has stooped.
“He is in a period of his life where he doesn’t know what he’s doing,” explained Adam Rowland, who has played Remi since 2022. “He’s not self-sabotaging. He isn’t thinking.”
Eden and Sonny try to talk sense into Remi, while also sharing their utter confusion at his reckless behaviour. Remi offers a range of excuses but an enraged Eden can’t hide her disgust.
Surprisingly, Remi decides to come clean to Bree about the cheating – even if it means losing her. He explains the stress he’s been under and apologises for hurting her.
