Hottie Love Island bombshell Josh Oyinsan entered the Love Island 2024 villa like a knight in shining armour on day 36 at a time when a fair few of the OG boys had been embracing every Love Island male cliche in Casa Amor – leaving many of our gorgeous girls a tad wounded and deflated.
One of these girls was Mimii Ngulube, who was asked to go on a date with Josh in the wake of Ayo Odukoya’s Casa Amor betrayal with Jess Spencer
Just over three weeks later, the new couple have only gone and won the series – the first black couple in Love Island history to do so – causing a tidal wave of feels and love across the nation.
Seriously, we’re thinking of letting all heat employees have every 29 July off to celebrate ‘Mimii and Josh Day’.
Then we remembered this will always be Love Island final week in our calendars so quickly scrapped that suggestion.
Congrats to both of these beauts, though.

Josh won Love Island 2024 alongside Mimii. He entered the villa as a late bombshell on day 36 and left the winner on day 58.

Although he went into the villa with his eyes on two or three of the girls, it didn’t take long for him to throw all his eggs in one basket in his mission for Mimii. They coupled up the day after they met and they stayed together until they won the series.
What happened with Josh and Grace?
Not much. Grace Jackson pulled Josh for a chat early on to express her interest and the sexual chemistry seemed to be there on both sides, but it soon fizzled out when Josh started getting serious with Mimii. Oh, and they kissed in a challenge, but that’s just Love Island for you.
What happened with Josh, Joey and Sean?
In short, Joey Essex and his sidekick Sean Stone just could not drop their theory that Mimii was still into her ex Ayo while with Josh. It got brought up time and time again in the villa, and caused some major tension between the troublemakers and Josh.
The boys all managed to squash their beef before Joey’s dumping ahead of the final, and let’s all hope winning the chuffin’ show with Mimii will have proven Josh’s point once and for all.
Are Josh and Ayo friends?
Yes. Despite Josh pursuing things with Ayo’s ex Mimii, the boys are good mates.
