Love Island finale 2024 results as Welsh couple Nicole and Ciaran narrowly miss out on win

Many predicted that Nicole and Ciaran will take home the Love Island crown in the live ITV2 final however they narrowly missed out

Only one couple can be crowned Love Island 2024 winner

There have been tears, arguments, gossip, drama and romantic moments on the 2024 series of summer Love Island. Welsh contestants Nicole and Ciaran, who have been coupled up since the start of the show, were the favourites to win.

This would make them the first Welsh couple to ever win the series, with Love Island already having Welsh winners including Liam Reardon. However they narrowly missed out on winning, instead coming second to Mimii and Josh who were crowned Love Island 2024 winners.

The final four couples were Nicole and Ciaran, Sean and Matilda, Mimii and Josh and Ayo and Jess. For the first time ever a celebrity, reality TV star Joey Essex, entered the villa, however he narrowly missed out on making it to the final when he was voted by the previous Islanders on the series to leave.
