Love Island finalists return home to the UK after live final

The Love Island finalists are officially returning home to the UK after a summer of love in Mallorca.

The 2024 summer series was won by Josh and Mimii on Monday night, making them the first-ever black couples to win the UK version of the show.

Ciaran and Nicole came in second place overall, while Matilda and Sean came third, and Jess and Ayo finished in fourth place.

Getting their phones back on Tuesday night, the final four couples took to Instagram to thank their fans for all the support.

Fourth-place couple Jess and Ayo thanked their fans collectively, writing, “Thankuuu so much for all the love and support!!! craziest and most fun experience of my whole entire life 🥺 #sayitback 🫢🏝️🏝️💗💗💗💗”

Winner Mimii wrote, “Thank you all so much for the support and love 🥹 the feeling is indescribable 🥰🫶 @joshoyinsan26”

Nicole and Ciaran were the first of the finalists to share a photo of the pair on the way home from the villa.

Captioning the post, “Home time with my boy 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿” the pair appeared as loved up as ever.

Ciaran also shared a sweet photo of Mimii and Josh as the couple made their way to the plane.

Matilda and Sean also shared an insight into post-villa life, as the two posed for a selfie, captioned “Home time ✈️❤️”
