Love Island UK’s Tommy Fury shares rare video update following shock split from Molly-Mae Hague
Love Island UK star Tommy Fury has given fans a glimpse into his life following his shock split from Molly-Mae Hague last month.
The boxer, 25, posted a vlog titled ‘Come On A Morning Run With Me’ and shared how much exercise is helping him.
“I feel incredible,” he said after completing a 6.5 kilometre run.
“The best way of therapy for me is getting out first thing, clearing your head… going out there on a nice long run, fresh air. There’s nothing better.
“There really is nothing better. It sets you up so good for the day.”
Fans of the TV star rallied around him in the comments.
“I wish the best to Molly and Tommy and Bambi, maybe they get back together or maybe they stay apart, no matter what form or shape it takes I wish them the best,” one said.
“Tommy, don’t listen to all the hate, keep doing what you’re doing,” said another.
Tommy had earlier addressed the breakup with a pointed Instagram caption, addressing “horrendous” allegations swirling online that he cheated.
“These last few weeks have been heartbreaking. The false allegations about me have been horrendous, thank you to everybody who has stood by me through this 🤍,” he wrote in the August post.
His video come a week after Molly-Mae, 25, addressed the split in an emotional 36-minute video on her YouTube. The former couple announced they had called off their engagement and ended their five-year relationship earlier in August 2024.
They met on the 2019 series of Love Island UK, welcomed daughter Bambi in January 2023 and were engaged in July 2023.
In the video, posted to her popular vlog channel, Molly-Mae said: “This is real life – it is not drama, it is not tea, it is not a publicity stunt, as much as I wish it was.”
“This is real life and very sad and it’s very deep.”
Molly-Mae addressed the split and the difficulty of the situation but told fans she had no plans to ever explain the reasons for the split publicly.
“I don’t ever plan on talking about the last couple of weeks, it’s not something that I feel comfortable with,” she said.
“Out of respect to Tommy as well because it’s just not nice, and I feel like everything over the last couple of weeks… it’s been a lot and been blown way out of proportion.”
The influencer added that everything has “gotten a bit carried away with itself” and the last thing she wanted to do was “fuel that fire more”.
Speaking of her relationship with Tommy, Molly said: “He’s Bambi’s dad and I will always value him and respect him and obviously always have a lot of love for him.
“We were together for five years and it’s very very sad.”
Molly-Mae was filled with gratitude for her supportive fans.
“Genuinely the last couple of weeks has been made so much easier because of you guys and because of the support everyone has shown and the love I have been given,” she said.
