WNBA All-Stars Caitlin Clark, Sabrina Ionescu Turn Heads With Postgame Exchange

Caitlin Clark and Sabrina Ionescu had fans buzzing online after they shared a cool postgame exchange following the 2024 WNBA All-Star game.

The rookie and WNBA MVP candidate were photographed after Clark and Team WNBA’s 117-109 victory over Ionescu and Team USA.

WNBA fans absolutely loved the duo, flooding the post with comments that read “sisters” and “splash sisters.”

“Sisters from different mother,” said another.

“Splash sisters if you can get them on the same team,” commented another.

The comment section made it clear that the tandem is a fan-favorite, with many individuals expressing their desire to see the two team up at some point.

Sabrina Ionescu and Caitlin Clark played a substantial amount at the WNBA All-Star game, but neither of them was able to make a major impact on the scoresheet. Clark ended the game with four points, shooting 2-of-9 from the field, while Ionescu scored five points, firing 2-of-6 from the field.

Despite the shooting struggles, Clark was able to secure the WNBA record for most assists by a rookie in WNBA All-Star Game history with 10 assists on the night.

Clark and Ionescu have faced off four times this season, with the New York Liberty having a 3-1 series lead over the Indiana Fever.

In the Fever’s last game against the Liberty, Clark became the first rookie in WNBA history to ever record a triple-double, posting 19 points, 13 assists and 12 rebounds on July 6.

Both players should be competing against each other for years to come, having established themselves as two of the best guards in the WNBA.
